This onion harvester was manufactured for harvesting onions but also red turnips and potatoes with the two-phase system. It is a towed machine with a hydraulically controlled drawbar. Steering wheels (opt.).
The collection head is interchangeable. The standard version consists of 2 conveyors with adjustable level wheels and hydraulic shovels.
The sieve-elevator belt is very wide (80 cm) and has interleaved bars covered in star PVC to avoid rolling and peeling.
The selection table (accessible on both sides for two people) is made up of an adjustable hydraulically traction belt (80 cm wide, 36 mm pitch) which transports the product on the gooseneck. As an option, 6 dirt rollers or 3 dirt rollers with an in-line cleaning curl can be supplied. A large side gooseneck (90cm wide) can unload directly onto trailers (up to 3.8m high) or down onto boxes transported on special trolleys provided the gooseneck is equipped with a special funnel. The care taken in the construction of the machine and in the details allows to obtain, in short, delicacy of harvesting and great yields ranging from 20 to 50 t/h. The machine’s hydraulic controls are electromagnetic.
